{"id":318,"date":"2015-07-27T21:00:56","date_gmt":"2015-07-27T21:00:56","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/site.baryonyxknife.com\/blog\/?p=318"},"modified":"2025-05-27T19:18:16","modified_gmt":"2025-05-27T19:18:16","slug":"a-traditional-rag-knife","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/byxcoblog.com\/?p=318","title":{"rendered":"A Traditional &#8220;Rag Knife&#8221;"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span class=\"fbPhotoCaptionText\">A traditional style of farm knife made from a broken <a href=\"http:\/\/www.baryonyxknife.com\/scac.html\" target=\"_blank\">American scythe<\/a> blade, usually used for topping root crops.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>The blade below crack was cut back to the spine, which was forged out into a tang.
